It was a perfect start to a perfect September day at Still Water Hollow. This venue proved to be the ideal backdrop for this Patriotic Country wedding. We had cowboy boots, hats and wranglers, it was a real down home celebration. Because Sam and Shari were engaged over the 4th of July, they wanted to continue the celebration into the beginning of their lives together. Shari's mother Roberta with the help of family decorated the reception beautifully. Everywhere you looked it was red white and blue. I was in heaven.
The ceremony was held in the chapel and was officiated by family. Sam and Shari had their first kiss behind a cowboy hat as everyone cheered. The dancing began and to my surprise, Sam and his brother are amazing country line dancers. He said he learned when he was 16. Fresh warm cookies were served at 8pm at Ollie's Treat Truck with a patriotic flare. We ended the evening just as the sun went down with sparklers. The 4th of July/September 7th couldn't be complete without them. They sped off into the sunset in Sam's truck followed by Pepsi can's.
The day was filled with laughter, tears and a whole lot of love. This day couldn't have been any better. Thank you again Shari and Sam! I am honored to share this day with you!!!
